3. Accounts

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to paid features until that date. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.

Pricing changes. We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Continued use of the service after a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Upload files that contain malware, viruses, or any malicious code.
• Process files that you do not have the legal right to access or modify.
• Use the service to process, distribute, or store content that is illegal, infringing, obscene, defamatory, or harmful.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy our platform, code, or tools.
• Use automated scripts or bots to submit files or interact with the service at scale without prior written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems or another user's data.
• Resell or sublicense the service to third parties without our express written consent.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

6. Intellectual Property

Your content. You retain full ownership of any files you upload. By uploading a file, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process that file solely to perform the service you requested. This license expires when your file is deleted (within 2 hours of upload).

Our platform. All software, code, design, text, logos, and other content that makes up Best PDF Editor Online is our property or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our written consent.

Feedback. If you submit suggestions or feedback, you grant us an unrestricted license to use those ideas without any obligation to compensate you.

7. Limitation of Liability

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases immediately. Any files remaining in our temporary storage will be deleted on the standard schedule. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of the jurisdiction in which we operate, as applicable.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify registered users by email. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
